1 The Catalog

• 1.1 Browsing

  The catalog at Republican Market is divided up into categories, each of which contain items.
  The best place to start is the Category Index, which lists all the categories on offer, and a representative picture from that category.
  
  

• 1.2 Looking at Specific Categories

  To look at a specific category of items, simply go to the Category Index and the click on a Category. You will then see all the items in that category (see 1.4).
  
  

• 1.3 Searching

  To find all items with a specific word or phrase in either the name or the description of that item, you need to perform a Search.
  Simply type in the word or words you'd like to search for into the text box on the Search page, and press the button. If you need to search for words in a specific case, just check the Case Sensitive checkbox.
  
  

• 1.4 Viewing Categories

  When you move into a specific category, all the items in that category are displayed. You get a thumbnail picture of the product, it's original cost, and the exclusive Republican Market price! To get as close-up look of an item, just click the thumbnail picture! (See 1.5)
  
  

• 1.5 Viewing Items

  When you view a specific item, you get to see a close-up picture and detailed description. Sometimes you will see a list of items we think will go well with the one you are viewing. This appears in a box called Also Consider.
  
  

  • 1.5.1 Suggested Items

    When other items are suggested they will appear in a box titled Also Consider. Each item name is a link to the page for that item so you can decide whether or not to add it to your basket independently.
    
    
    
    

  • 1.5.2 Choosing a Specific Type of Item

    Sometimes, an item will be available in more than one size, or color, or some other variation. If the item you are currently looking at has different variations, the choices will be displayed next to the Add To Basket button.
    
    
    
    Choose the type of item you want before pressing the Add To Basket button. Some choices will affect the price of the item. For example, if you choose an XX-Large T-Shirt, the price of that item might increase by $2. Conversely, a color change to the same T-Shirt might decrease the price.
    
    

  • 1.5.3 Adjusting the Quantity

    Once you are happy with the type of item you are buying, you can add one or more to your basket. To alter the quantity, just change the number next to Quantity:.
    
    

  • 1.5.4 Adding To Your Order

    Once you are happy with the specifics of the item you are buying, just press the Add To Basket button. This is the green sqaure icon to the bottom-right of the View-Item page. This will add the specific item you requested in the quantity you requested to your basket.
    
    

  • 1.5.5 Discounts

    If the item you are viewing is available at a discounted price, the discounts will be displayed to the right of the close-up picture.
    
    
    
    There are many types of discounts available, but don't worry - they will always be displayed, and, if you qualify, you will automatically get the discounted price at the checkout.
    Common discounts include: getting a specific amount of an item at a given price, or getting a reduced price on every item when you have a certain amount in your basket.
    
    Discounts are also prioritized, so you will always get the most discount if more than one applies!

2 The Shopping Basket

• 2.1 Viewing Your Basket

  You can view your shopping basket at any time by clicking the basket icon at the top-right of every page.
  
  

  • 2.1.1 Items in Your Basket

    Your basket will contain any items you've added in your shopping session. The items are listed along with any variations you ordered (e.g. Large, Navy-Blue). The original price is displayed in red, along with the exclusive Republican Market price in green. Any changes to the price due to choices you've made will be reflected in these prices.
    
    

    • 2.1.1.1 Removing Items from Your Basket

      Every item in the basket has a Remove Item From Basket button. Pressing this button will remove the item from the basket
      
      
      

    • 2.1.1.2 Item Name

      The name of the item is displayed in your basket along with the item number.
      
      

    • 2.1.1.3 Item Variations

      If you chose any specific variations when you added an item to your basket, they will be displayed next to the item name.
      
      

    • 2.1.1.4 Item Price

      The original price and the Republican Market price are displayed for each item in the basket. If any varations affect the price, they will be reflected here.
      
      

    • 2.1.1.5 Item Quantity

      The quantity of the item is displayed for each item in the basket.
      
      

    • 2.1.1.6 Line Total

      The line total is computed as the Republican Market price multipled by the quantity. It is displayed on the far right of each line.
    
    

  • 2.2 Basket Subtotal

    The basket subtotal is the sum of all the line totals in the basket
    
    

  • 2.3 Shipping Charge

    The shipping charge is calculated based on the amount of your order. For the complete information on shipping charges, please consult the Shipping Information
    Extra shipping options can be selected at the checkout.

  3 Checkout

  The online checkout is where you finalize your order and submit payment.
  If you wish to fax your order to Republican Market, print out the Your Basket page, review it, and the fax to 407-833-9247, along with your Name, Address, Credit Card information.
  
  

  • 3.1 Online Checkout

    The Online Checkout is where you enter your personal details, such as Name, Address, Credit Card number. There is also a space where you can add personal comments to be submitted along with your order. You can put anything you want here!
    
    

    • 3.1.1 Entry Validation

      Your entries into the checkout form will be validated, and any missing or incorrect information will be recognised, and you will be able to correct the problems. Some information is optional, such as e-mail address (this is noted by a lighter color text), but we recommend you fill out as much information as you can. This will help Republican Market in fulfilling your order.
      
      

    • 3.1.2 Place Order

      When all your information has been entered, press the button. You will then receive a receipt which contains alink that you can record that enables you to view the status of your order. That's it!! :)
